Stephen performs regularly during the summer every Saturday evening at CHESTNUT GROVE RESORT, ( The Pocono's #1 "Family Vacation Resort" )... and ... THREE SHOWS-DAILY in his own NEW custom designed theater at ... SHAWNEE PLACE - PLAY & WATER PARK ( The Poconos favorite kids attraction! )
During the school year FUNDRAISERS, school shows and private parties are his specialty performing throughout the northeast with his MIND-ILLUSIONIST FUNDRAISER SHOW...(CLICK)

Stephen is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians, a past I.B.M. Ring President and has been a fan and student of magic since the age of 5. As a child, living in N.Y.C., his Dad took Stephen to the magic shops for the occasional trick and ordered magic "kits" thru the mail. He was amazed by the magician at Macy's back in the 60's who demonstrated tricks and "ignited his imagination" and finally saw his first real MAGIC STAGE SHOW performed by Bill Wisch in grammar school ( St. Francis, in Lodi, N.J.). The magician, Bill Wisch, directed him to the "MECCA MAGIC SHOP" in East Orange where his real magic education began. Stephen joined the 'Mecca Magic Society of Magicians' and was influenced greatly by Prof. Ted Collins, the owner of Mecca Magic and a highly respected and creator and performer of magic.

( At a Cub Scout Blue & Gold Dinner Stephen is performing the famous Basket Illusion at age 14 with his assistant/sister Mary-Margaret. The "ugly" assistant with fake nose & teeth is ordered into the basket ...covered with cloth and vanishes...only to reappear beautiful!) While still in High School, Stephen helped to create and worked on a Stage Illusion Show also featuring two female dancers which was conceived & produced by Jim Gerrish . During that same period Stephen also helped to run the "Hocus Pocus Magic Shop" in the Bergen Mall in Paramus, New Jersey with his Dad, Mom, Brother & Sister.

( Levitating Ruth ) After High School, Stephen studied Acting and Writing at Herbert Berghoff Studio in N.Y.C. and performed all over New Jersey at High Schools and Colleges as part of "Teen-Life Theater", a Govt. sponsored improvisational group. He also performed in many community theater productions, had speaking roles in several N.Y.U. student films and worked on 3 feature films including "Heaven Help Us" starring Donald Sutherland. Stephen has a passion for the Arts and one of his most cherished accomplishments was collaborating with his brother Bill ( a very talented song-writer and musician ) and his cousin Joe ( guitarist and trained recording engineer ) researching, writing, performing and producing...
with the band "BROTHERS BLOOD" a mind-blowing Rock-Opera / Audio-Movie for the Mind !! Stephen spent a good part of the 1980's in Sales, Marketing and Motivational Speaking. Starting as a Sales Rep. with publisher, "Alka International Enterprises" Stephen, soon became Branch Manager, opening an office in Eastchester N.Y. When his wife Cathi joined in they really flourished as a team.

I've loved my Kate for over 25 years ) From New York, they traveled down to Washington D.C. and opened branch offices in Norfolk, Va., Richmond, Va., Baltimore, Md. and Capitol Hts., Md. Hiring, training and managing a sales force of over 100 people and creating $40,000 per week in sales for the organization was a phenomenal learning experience and was a big part in the formation of his belief in "applied optimism" as a true spiritual and physical force. Stephen presented from 2-5 Motivational, Sales Seminars per day, 5 days a week for their own district offices as well as other corporate offices in the U.S. and Canada. "Our favorite part of working in that business was the dynamics of the people we dealt with everyday...The excitement of running "Top Sales" contests. Sharing in the joy of the sales people as we helped them set and achieve their own goals was a truly MAGICAL experience....Most people really do go through life underestimating their own and other peoples potential......We have really learned through unbelievable experience...to look at people not just as they are, but also what they could be!!!! TRUE MAGIC AND MIRACLES CAN BE FOUND IN THE MYSTERY AND DISCOVERY OF EACH INDIVIDUALS POTENTIAL" BELIEVING...AND...BECOMING ! These are the underlying themes in all of Stephen's performances today. He has drawn from his wealth of experience in artistic and entrepreneurial endeavors to inspire all of the "OptiMystiks" shows today ! Whether its a colorful, comical show for families or an exciting demonstration of "Bizarre Mind Twist" for adults ...once a person has had an "OptiMystikal" experience, their imagination is stirred and they are perhaps reminded of a dream long forgotten ... that dream...that gift of a seed of a dream that was planted by God when they were so young . They may even be moved to take action on that dream and give it some of the attention that it is owed !!!
