I have been a life-long student of human nature and for the past 17 years have had a special interest in the "subconscious mind".

And finally, everyone at the party will receive a fun, personal, Palm Reading and/or card reading. NO...Not a TAROT card reading. I use an ordinary deck of playing cards.  Just as effective as the Tarot.

( I had lost the use of my right hand due to some nerve damage and along with it, the dexterity gained over years of sleight-of-hand practice  and guitar playing.  After surgery, I have spent the last 7 years trying to regain that dexterity and it has been a miraculous and joyful challenge. )

( It was sometimes difficult to see others perform tasks that at one time were so easy for me and then suddenly seemed impossible. But I realize, of-course, that my injury is NOTHING compared to those with serious impairments and I am constantly and deeply moved by those who face each day with courage and faith. )

( During these rehabilitative years the cards began to take on new meaning to me. I learned that they can be more than just paper to be shuffled, flipped, juggled, fanned and flourished...something that we magicians become fascinated with when we are young. The numbers and symbols on the cards have deep-rooted meaning that go back to the Bible and other ancient writings.   The standard deck of playing cards is similar to the TAROT and each card is rich with symbolism. SYMBOLS THAT CAN TRIGGER BURIED THOUGHTS AND IDEAS. 

I remembered being taught about card readings as a child many years ago by my Aunt Dolores...her very unique method. I thought of it as just a silly game back then but now I have a different understanding and I am so thankful for her insight

I have also gained much wonder and fascination recently pursuing a more serious interest in the fact that I am 1/4 Iroquois Indian. Having begun only in the last 7 years to form an understanding and appreciation of the history and ways of the American Indian.
